FAQs

What do I need to bring for an overnight stay?

We require you to provide your dog's food, food bowl, and a collar or harness. Bedding and toys are optional, and we do not guarantee they come home in the same condition. We appreciate when customers label their belongings.

My dog needs to be separated. Can their needs be accommodated?

Yes, we have a secluded yard and indoor area for dogs who need to be alone or only with their companions.

What're the requirements for daycare and boarding?

Puppies must be at least 6 months of age. We require proof of Bordetella, Distemper, and Rabies before booking. For boarding and daycare, we ask that your dog wears a collar or harness. However, prong and martingale collars aren't accepted.

Does my dog need to be spayed or neutered to board or play?

No. However, we don't accept females that are in heat or pregnant. We recommend they stay in vet care!

What does a typical day at Happy Dog look like?

We are open for drop off, pick up, and play beginning at 7am Monday-Friday, and 8am on the weekends. Both boarding and daycare dogs play in small groups in our large yards throughout the day, and rest inside their own 4’x4’ or 4’x6’ kennels in our climate controlled barns. Dogs will eat breakfast around 9am. We give them an hour to let their stomachs rest before going back out to play. At noon, we put all the dogs in their kennels to eat lunch and relax. We don’t want your pups to get overstimulated- rest is important! We open again at 3pm in the afternoon, and it’s time to potty and play. Dogs that are staying overnight are fed dinner around 5pm, and let out again at 6pm to potty and play before bed at 7pm. 7pm is the latest pick up for daycare. *Play is limited in inclement weather. *We can accommodate dogs that prefer their own yard and separated indoor area.

What're the payment options?

You can pay cashcheck or card through the booking software! We don’t have a Venmo account.
